Cristiano Ronaldo has upset Real Madrid teammates and fans with his birthday celebrations on Saturday night. Just hours after their 4-0 rout by Atletico Madrid and the chants of "shame, shame" from fans, Ronaldo celebrated his 30th birthday with 'some' Real teammates and members of staff.

Knowing the sensitivity of such a show after the derby defeat, none of Real's Spanish players made the party. Nor did Raphael Varane, Toni Kroos, Lucas Silva, Gareth Bale, Chicharito and Karim Benzema.

Surprising for some Real officials was the attendance of James Rodriguez, who is recovering from foot surgery, and Sami Khedira, who complained of a hamstring injury on the day.
