Barcelona star Neymar sees PSG as a stepping stone to joining Real Madrid, it has been revealed.
PSG are pushing for a commitment from Neymar in the coming days, with plans to meet his €222m buyout now slated for sometime next week.
And Diaro Gol says the Brazilian is now ready to make the move, with a long-term strategy in mind of returning to Spain - but at Real Madrid.
Neymar views PSG as a way of making his fortune and also getting himself on the dais of the Ballon d'Or.
If he can achieve that, along with potential Champions League glory, he'll be able to negotiate his next move to his parameters. And the Brazilian's ultimate ambition would be to sign for Real - following the same path as Ronaldo Nazario.
Real president Florentino Perez hasn't been directly contacted by Neymar's camp about the strategy, but clearly would approve it.
Last night, journalist Isabela Pagliari of Estadio Interativo reported on social media: "The amount of the transfer of Neymar has already been debited from the bank account of Qatar.
"The plan of Paris Saint-Germain is to pay the money to Barça next week."
