Manchester United could be playing in the Europa League next season. UEFA's decision to suspend Eski?ehirspor and Sivasspor from the competition for alleged match-fixing has opened the door to United and Valencia to take their place.
The UEFA Appeals Body have decided that the both Super Lig clubs are not eligible to participate in this season's Europa League competition.
The Turkish clubs have ten days to appeal the ruling.
In the meantime, the teams to replace the two clubs are expected to come from the leagues with the highest UEFA coefficient - which is the Premier League and Spanish Liga.
And in this case, the two beneficiaries would be Manchester United and Valencia.
