STUNNER! Man City ready to swoop for Chelsea star Hazard

Manchester City are prepared to make a move for Eden Hazard if the superstar decides to leave Chelsea.

According to The Sun, the new English champions have been monitoring the Belgian's situation at the London club for a while.

Following their failure to qualify for Champions League, the Blues will find it difficult to tie the winger to a new contract.

Hazard is reportedly asking for top class players to arrive, in order for him to stay at the club.

Man City are ready to battle it out with Real Madrid for Hazard's signature and would offer a £100m-plus deal and match player's wage demands of £300,000 per week.

The Sun quoted a source from the Etihad, who said: "The club would be at the front of the queue if Hazard becomes available this summer.

"The boss has long considered him a crack player. He has already told the board how much he admires him.

"The club have been keeping a watchful eye. They know his value will drop if his deal continues to run down.

"Pep is refusing to spend money for the sake of it. He only wants a player who can take the squad to the next level."
