Liverpool must have Mario Balotelli registered by high noon tomorrow for him to be available for Monday's game with Manchester City.
Balotelli was at Milan's Milanello training HQ this morning, where he said goodbye to his teammates, informing them that he expected to be signing for Liverpool today.
He even joked with fellow striker Giampaolo Pazzini: "Now you can play a little more!"
Liverpool are now finalising terms with Milan over the move.
For Balotelli to play on Monday against former club City, he will have to have his medical completed today in Italy. Liverpool have until 12pm Friday to register him.
