Napoli have identified Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini as their next manager. With Rafa Benitez's deal expiring in June, Napoli will allow the Spaniard to leave and aim to replace him with former Real Madrid coach Manuel Pellegrini.

Agent Francois Gallardo, speaking with Radio Marte, says he will act as an intermediary in negotiations.

"Napoli have chosen a replacement for Benitez and it will be the current coach of Manchester City and next week I will become an intermediary for president (Aurelio) De Laurentiis, I await his call within fifteen days," he said.

"Benitez had already communicated to Napoli in December he will leave after this season, the same period in which I had stated that I am aware of a Chinese consortium ready to buy the club.

"This was solid information, I confirm it today."
