Stubbs proud Chelsea chose Rotherham for Izzy Brown loan

Rotherham United manager Alan Stubbs is really excited to have signed Chelsea youngster Izzy Brown on a loan deal.

Stubbs thinks that it's a matter of pride for the Millers that the Blues have loaned them one of their most talented youngsters who will spend the 2016/17 Championship campaign at the New York Stadium.

The 19-year-old, who can play as a winger or a forward, spent last season on loan at Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem but will now play his trade in England's second tier with the Millers.

"We're really looking forward to him being here and I think he's going to give us a real threat in the forward areas in terms of creating and being a goal threat and it's one that we're all excited about," Stubbs told www.themillers.co.uk.

"He is a very exciting player. He went to Chelsea for a lot of money a few years ago and they've got big aspirations for him and I think it's a feather in the club's cap the fact that Chelsea have loaned us one of their prestigious talents and one that they have really high hopes for."
