Manchester City are new favourites for Udinese star Alexis Sanchez as a deal with Barcelona on brink of collapse. Barça had been expected to complete the signing of Chile international Sanchez this week for 39m, including performance-related bonuses, plus Jeffren.
However, Ona FM says negotiations hit a big stumbling block late yesterday.
It seems that forward Jeffren has refused the move to Udinese in part-exchange for El Nino Maravilla.
Unless the two clubs can decide on another player to be included in the deal, this could let Manchester City back into the race for Sanchez.
