Former Celtic midfielder Stuart Armstrong is delighted with his move to Southampton.

Armstrong feels his style of game suits the Saints.

He said, “Southampton play an attacking style of football and that's a big part of my game.

"Every season, I put demands on myself and set targets to create and score. I hope going forwards from here that it will be the same here.

“It's a four-year contract and I hope that there will be a lot to learn in that time. There's a strong element of stability there and I want to hit the ground running. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and I'm very excited to get started."
