Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman hopes coach Luciano Spalletti stays long-term.

Spalletti surprised many over the weekend when stating he'd be open to coaching Juventus.

After victory at Genoa, Strootman said: "Spalletti is the right man who can make us win. We must stick with him. In 2016 we made 84 points, a score that speaks for itself.

"He's a tough coach during the week at Trigoria and on Sundays on the field he goes all out to win games.

"Market? If someone joins this week or next, good, otherwise we will be fine. The managers and technical staff think about this, we think just of playing."
