The agent of Kevin Strootman has cooled talk of fresh interest from Manchester United for the AS Roma midfielder.
Strootman is being linked with United ahead of the January market.
"New interest of Manchester United? No, they are old stories: Strootman chose Roma last summer because he wants to build something important with a club as prestigious as the Giallorossi," argued agent Cheil Dekker to Calciomercato.it.
"He is pleased with the whole environment and wants to stay in Rome, we hope that it is a long marriage."
