Striker O'Grady claims clubs raise their game against Wednesday

Sheffield Wednesday striker Chris O'Grady believes the Owls are a scalp all smaller clubs would love to claim and therefore raise their game accordingly. The 25-year-old has struck his second goal in last weekend's FA Cup win at Morecambe.

O'Grady told the club's official website: "At Morecambe, we did have to work hard towards the end, but that's something we have to do in every game because of the name Sheffield Wednesday.

"Teams can raise their game to a level above themselves and we have to come through that and come out on top, which we generally have done in the past few months."

O'Grady, determined to make his mark at Hillsborough, added: "There is a lot of expectation here, but I want to do everything I possibly can to not become one of those number nines that falls short of what has happened here previously."
