Former FC Basel striker Marco Streller has warned his old club Jose Mourinho is out for revenge tonight.

Basel visit Manchester United for their Champions League opener and Streller says Mourinho will still be burning after being beaten home and away by the Swiss while Chelsea manager.

"I am convinced that these two defeats are still gnawing at his ego and he wants to prevent history from repeating at all costs. He will not underestimate FC Basel, on the contrary," said Streller.

Streller played in both games against Chelsea and added: "I cannot say I did not have much to do with him after the games. But he gave us a fair hand, as a gentleman."
