Inter Milan boss Andrea Stramaccioni apologised to fans after their 2-2 draw with Europa League opponents Ruben Kazan.
Former Inter, Marko Livaja and Yuto Nagatomo equalised after Aleksander Ryzantsev and Rondon netted for the visitors.
"Personally I'm sorry not to give the joy of victory," Strama told Sky Italia.
"Obviously it bothers us not to win at home. It seems like simplistic analysis, but we were punished by two episodes.
"Every game has its own story," he continued. "We have always went behind early in games played at home this season, but I do not think our approach was wrong as we created several chances before they scored."
