Rangers winger David Templeton feels his Scotland chances have been enhanced by the appointment of new manager Gordon Strachan.
The former Hearts star has not yet represented Scotland at senior level but is of the belief that Strachan will be open to giving players from the Third Division a chance in the future.
"Hopefully he'll not shut the door on anyone here and if I'm playing well it would be nice to think I might get a chance," said Templeton.
"With him being a winger himself, he might like that type of player and if I play well hopefully I can get a chance."
