Scotland boss Gordon Strachan would be happy with a second-placed finish in World Cup qualifying.
The Scots currently occupy second position in Group F wth four points from two matches ahead of Tuesday night's meeting with Slovakia in Trnava.
Scotland's next qualifier for Russia 2018 takes place at Wembley against Auld Enemy England on November 11 and although there is some hope of coming out on top in that contest in particular, Strachan is realistic in regards to his overall targets for his team's campaign.
"Most of us expect that England will win it but you never know," said the former Manchester United and Leeds United star and Celtic boss.
"We will definitely try to get second at least. If you get first, then great, but second is our target as we sit here."
