John Stones has reportedly informed Everton that he wants to move to Manchester City to join Pep Guardiola.
The 22-year-old defender has been heavily linked with City for the past 12 or so months and according to The Sun, has no told the Toffees he wants out.
It is understood that Stones and his representatives have told Everton and their new manager Ronald Koeman that a big-money move to the Etihad Stadium is at the top of their agenda.
Stones, who has also been targeted by Chelsea and Manchester United, wants to link up with new City boss Guardiola after enduring a below par campaign under Roberto Martinez.
City will reportedly have to pay £45million to secure the services of Stones with the Toffees to pass on 15% of any fee to his former club Barnsley.
