Everton boss David Moyes is considering giving John Stones a debut this Saturday against Norwich City.
The fullback has impressed for the U21s since his arrival last month from Barnsley.
The Liverpool Echo says the 18-year-old January recruit is a genuine contender to feature at right back against the Canaries.
