Stokes tarnished Celtic's reputation with IRA stunt says Lennon

Celtic manager Neil Lennon believes Anthony Stokes has tarnished the clubs reputation by attending the memorial of a Real Ira chief.

The Hoops striker attended the party for murdered Alan 'The Model' Ryan and his decision to do so has been slammed by a furious Lennon.

"We spoke to him internally. I am not going to moralise to him but you cannot damage the reputation of the club. He is aware of that now," he said.

"It has been dealt with internally."
