Stoke City defender Ryan Shawcross admits criticism from Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger earlier this season still burns.
"It's not nice when someone calls you a cheat, a bully or a thug," he told the Stoke Sentinel. "I've only had three or four yellow cards this season and so I can't be that much of a dirty player.
"It wasn't that bad a challenge against Arsenal that day, and people forget Adebayor's challenge on me.
"I will just go down there and try to prove I'm a good player and, like everybody else, try to play well in front of a good team."
