Celtic striker Anthony Stokes has heaped praise on teammate James Forrest after his brilliant performance for Scotland in Wednesday night's 1-1 friendly with Slovenia.
The 20-year old winger was Scotland's best player on the night, receiving adulation from manager Craig Levein, and now Stokes has chimed in with reserved admiration for the promising talent.
Stokes believes Forrest will remain the same unassuming person throughout his career and is of the belief that he can make it at any level he chooses.
"I've never seen anyone who's quicker and more direct. He's an old-school winger who chips in with lots of goals.
"I just look at him in training and think, 'He's unbelievable.'
"James must be a dream for the manager because he has a terrific temperament and is a quiet lad.
"If he went to Real Madrid I believe he'd still be the same person and he's such a good player James could end up wherever he wants.
"Aiden McGeady fetched £9million for the club when he went to Spartak Moscow and if James continues to progress at his present rate he'll go for an awful lot of money one day.""My friends are always asking me about James and I tell them he's the best kid I've ever seen for his age," Stokes said.
