Hull City are yet to show their hand in pursuit of Stoke City midfielder Seyi Olofinjana.

A source close to Stoke City says Hull are yet to make an offer, although the player would prefer a move to an English club in preference to Monaco, with whom the Potters have agreed a £2.5m transfer fee.

The source told the Hull Daily Mail: "He would prefer a move to an English club.

"He has two years still on his deal but he couldn't get a look-in last season after playing the first 14 games of the season."
