Two-goal Anthony Stokes praised new Sunderland teammate David Meyler after yesterday's friendly victory over Cobh Ramblers.

"He has only been over a week or so but he did very well tonight and he has been doing well in training so I am sure he will push on this year," Stokes told Setanta Sports Ireland.
