Stoke City midfielder Salif Diao says a trip home has left him in the right frame of mind for the remaining weeks of this season.
The Senegal star, 32, spent the two-week break with his wife and children at their home in Monaco.
He said: "It is difficult being away for so long. I really enjoyed going home to see everyone and it has cleared my mind. That should help me to give everything for Stoke until the end of the season."
