Stoke won't block Shanghai Shenhua move for Upson

Stoke City are prepared to allow Matthew Upson to move to Shanghai Shenhua.

The Daily Star says Upson signed a two-year deal with the Potters in the summer but is way down the pecking order behind Ryan Shawcross, Robert Huth and Jonathan Woodgate.

Stoke boss Tony Pulis would love to keep Upson but he won't put a block on the deal if he decides to move.
