Stoke City winger Brek Shea has escaped serious injury.
The Sentinel says Shea could be playing Premier League football for Stoke City by the end of the month after scans delivered good news on his knee ligament injury.
The results suggest the American international could be out for three to four weeks after the damage was shown not to be as bad as first feared.
Boss Mark Hughes, who was furious with the challenge which led to the injury during the 2-0 defeat of Philadelphia Union on Tuesday, was almost resigned to the injury sidelining him for much longer.
