Stoke winger Pennant happy to stick it to Arsenal fans

Stoke City winger Jermaine Pennant enjoyed sticking it to former club Arsenal yesterday.

The Mirror says Pennant was fired up by chants from Gunners fans, as he took a free-kick and fed Kenwyne Jones for the opening goal.

The winger - an Arsenal signing in his teens - danced with delight in front of the away end, before patting his badge.

Pennant didn't forget the stick he took when he crashed in the second from 25 yards and made straight for the boo boys to celebrate. But he was subbed by boss Tony Pulis after a bust-up with Jack Wilshere.

Pennant was hacked down by Wilshere, jumped up to shove him and was lucky that referee Mark Halsey only booked the pair.
