Stoke City winger Jermaine Pennant is convinced they can finish in the Europa League places.
Pennant says Stoke shouldn't give up on a Euro place as they look to build on 12th and 11th-placed finishes from their first two seasons in the Premier League.
He explained to The Sentinel: "It is not out of our hands. We are only just behind Sunderland. It is going to be difficult, but we have set our standard.
"We are still in the top half. It is tight, but some of the results went our way on Saturday, even though we lost.
"Our next league game won't be easy - it's at Arsenal - but we have put ourselves in a good position for the rest of the season.
"OK, we aren't mathematically safe, but I think we have a great chance of staying in the top half if we continue doing well at home."
