Stoke City winger Jermaine Pennant is eyeing revenge over former club Liverpool today.
Pennant has shown flashes in recent weeks of why Liverpool once paid £8million for his services.
Potters boss Tony Pulis said: "It's always a risk, whatever player you sign. It's like getting married - you don't know what that woman is like before you marry them!
"He was worth that risk. He's a terrific talent, loads of ability.
"Jermaine's got a point to prove to himself, not anyone else.
"He needs to show he's still got what it takes to play in the Premier League."
