Matthew Etherington insists he wants to stay with Stoke City.

The 31-year-old has been linked with a move to Championship side Millwall.

He told The Sentinel: "I have not heard anything from anyone. No one has contacted me and there is no truth in the stories as far as I am concerned.

"I am back in training with the rest of the squad on Monday and will take it from there.

"All the players will be looking to impress the new manager and I am no different."
