Stoke winger Assaidi: We can't take Swansea lightly

Stoke City winger Oussama Assaidi has warned teammates not to take Swansea City lightly today.

The Swans have been on a 4,000-mile round trip to Russia to draw 1-1 with Kuban Krasnodar this week, the kind of journey that left Stoke exhausted during their own continental adventure a couple of years ago.

But Assaidi told The Sentinel: "Swansea are a very good team and it'll be a hard game, but if we play how we played against Manchester United then we will be OK.

"I don't know how they'll come out of their midweek game, but we don't have to look to Swansea, we must look at ourselves and what we can do.

"We have been playing well away from home - in time it will come at home too - so we go to Swansea looking to win."
