Stoke City are ready to spend big to land Tottenham pair Peter Crouch and Wilson Palacios.
The Daily Mail says Stoke are lining up a £16million double swoop for the Tottenham duo.
The Potters are hoping to pay around £8m each for the duo, but are unable to match the lucrative contracts on offer at Spurs and so must convince both players to accept wage cuts.
But the ambitious move received a boost after fellow Spurs striker Roman Pavlyuchenko's agent said that Crouch was likely to leave White Hart Lane this summer.
