Stoke City are ready to offer a new and improved four-year contract to Marko Arnautovic to ward off Everton's interest their player, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Austria international, who was the Potters' top goal scorer last season, has only one year left on his current contract at the Britannia Stadium.

Toffees boss Ronald Koeman is a fan of the player and is ready to activate his £12.5million release clause.
