Manchester City won't be the only Premier League club with a presence in MLS from 2015.
Stoke City's sister club Orlando City are expected to be confirmed as a new MLS franchise on Tuesday. Orlando were set up by Stoke director Phil Rawlins and are managed by ex-Potters star Adrian Heath.
Heath's squad currently contains former Stoke players James O'Connor and Anthony Pulis.
Manchester City, meanwhile, part-own New York City FC, which will also join the MLS from 2015.
