Stoke City captain Ryan Shawcross believes the club will continue to further advance under manager Mark Hughes in the coming years.
The Potters sit 10th on the Premier League table with 47 points and are likely to improve on that as they have two home fixtures remaining and an away trip to bottom-placed Burnley.
Potters skipper Shawcross is hoping a strong finish will help create a positive atmosphere around the club as they prepare for next season.
He said: "Hopefully the manager will have some money to improve the squad as you need to keep doing that in the Premier League.
"If we can do that, and get a bit more of a regular, balanced side then there's no reason why we can't have another good year.
"We've set the bar high for ourselves, but we want to keep doing that every year."
