Stoke whiz Ngoy delighted with Walsall winner on debut

Stoke City youngster Julien Ngoy enjoyed a superb debut for loan club Walsall.

The Belgium under-21 international moved to the League One outfit on transfer deadline day on loan for the rest of the season.

And he emerged from the substitutes' bench to score the winner in Walsall's 1-0 home victory over MK Dons at the weekend.

“It was a big victory," the 20-year-old told the Express & Star.

“I felt the team played very well and I was very pleased and happy to score on my debut.

“I felt proud. The night before and in the morning I was thinking about scoring.

“I'm sure it won't be the last goal I score for Walsall."
