Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion are chasing Hull City winger Ahmed Elmohamady.
The Daily Mail says the highly-rated Egyptian winger wants to return to the top-flight after being relegated with Hull last season.
Elmohamady, 27, has a year left on his contract at the KC Stadium but is keen to leave this summer in a cut-price deal.
Stoke and West Brom are both leading the hunt for the former Sunderland man, who is valued at £3million.
Newcastle and Watford are also in the race, while there is interest from abroad from both Sevilla and Benfica.
