Stoke City have warned Arsenal off any attempts for England goalkeeper Jack Butland.
The Sentinel says the Gunners are being linked with the England goalkeeper after reports they were lining him up as the long-term replacement for 35 year-old Petr Cech.
Stoke's hierarchy are braced for such stories, but insist there is no plan whatsoever to part company with Butland this summer.
The point was stressed during Thursday's transfer summit meeting between chairman Peter Coates, vice chairman John Coates, chief executive Tony Scholes and manager Mark Hughes.
The Stoke boss, despite the reliable presence of Lee Grant, wants Butland to build on his promising comeback from a long-term ankle injury after seeing him play the last five games of last season before forcing his way back into the England squad.
