Stoke City want Sheyi Ojo in talks over the sale of Xherdan Shaqiri to Liverpool.

Potters boss Gary Rowett will lose Swiss star Shaqiri for a knockdown £13.5million as part of a release clause.

Talks are ongoing as Rowett wants Ojo, 21, on loan, says The Sun.

Former Derby chief Rowett is also keen on Liverpool's up-and-coming Wales wide man Harry Wilson - but he is currently interesting 11 Championship sides.

Wilson, who has also interested Celtic and Rangers, could choose to stay at Anfield and try to force his way into Jurgen Klopp's plans.
