Chelsea are to make a new £8 million bid for Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.
Stoke have already rejected a £6 million offer from Blues for the Bosnian.
The Telegraph says Chelsea will weigh in with another proposal but Stoke are determined to maintain a stubborn stance, insisting they want one of Jose Mourinho's players on a season's loan as part of the deal.
Victor Moses, who spent this season on loan at Stoke, is one target while Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Patrick Bamford or Nathan Ake could also come into contention.
Begovic has only 12 months left on his current contract and Chelsea are pushing hard to complete a deal before the weekend.
