Stoke want £8M for Jones

Stoke City have slapped an £8 million price-tag on Kenwyne Jones.

The Guardian says Stoke have rejected a £3m bid from Swansea City for Jones. Michael Laudrup, the Swansea manager, sees Jones as a replacement for Danny Graham, who is expected to leave the Welsh club this month.

Although Stoke are willing to allow Jones to move on, the Potteries club are holding out for a better offer for a player who cost them £8m when he joined from Sunderland in August 2010.
