Stoke City have slapped a price tag of £12million on Middlesbrough target Bojan Krkic, according to the Daily Express.

Boro manager Aitor Karanka is a fan of his compatriot Bojan and is keen on bringing him to the Riverside Stadium this month, but will have to pay more than the £8m the Teesside club has offered.

The Spanish striker himself is pushing for an exit from his current club as he has reportedly grown frustrated at the lack of playing opportunities for the Potters this season.

Stoke manager Mark Hughes prefers to keep the player at Bet365 Stadium but is prepared to let him leave for the right price.
