Stoke utility Cameron happy with wide role

Stoke City utility Geoff Cameron is enjoying his first tem run.

He still prefers centre-back or centre-midfield to his current right-back berth, but is enjoying his club role more than he once did.

Cameron told The Sentinel: "If you'd asked me what position I hated the most," he confided, "it was right-back because there were games when I would only touch the ball two or three times and then lump it upfield.

"But now I am combining with the midfield, making runs and enjoying my role.

"I'm getting more confident at right-back and learning it more."
