Achilles '29 prospect Justin de Vos is trialling with Stoke City.

The 18 year-old has been training with the Potters and featured for the U23s in a friendly on the weekend.

Achilles '29 chief Frans Derks confirmed: "I have given him permission to go, we must know our place here at Achilles on the football ladder, you can't stop a player from taking this chance.

"He has a two-year contract with us.

"If Stoke City want to have him, then they should buy his contract. But it will not be a disproportionate amount."

De Vos, a centre-half, has made two first team appearances for Achilles.
