Ashley Young is considering running down his contract at Manchester United.

The Mirror says Young could yet see out his contract at United despite interest from Stoke.

Potters boss Mark Hughes has been linked with a move for the 32-year-old, who has now entered the final year of his Old Trafford deal.

It was widely expected that the former Watford, Aston Villa and England player would leave United this summer with boss Jose Mourinho continuing to revamp his squad.

But the Portuguese likes Young's versatility and, with United again tackling four competitions in the coming season, Mourinho will be happy for him to see out the term he is signed up for.
