West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino is now unlikely to join Stoke City after jetting off on a holiday.
Berahino has only one year remaining on his current contract at Albion and it was widely believed that the striker would be leaving The Hawthorns this summer, with Stoke said to be interested in his services in the form of a £20million deal.
Despite the constant speculation, Berahino's move to Stoke has evidently not come into fruition as of yet and it seems unlikely that the 23-year-old will join the Potters after going on holiday with his family, just two days before the end of the summer transfer window.
That suggests that any medical or personal talks with the Potters are unlikely to occur before Wednesday night's transfer deadline.
