Stoke City boss Tony Pulis is set to land Aston Villa veteran Patrik Berger.
Pulis wants Czech midfielder Berger to sign a 12-month deal after his release from Aston Villa.
Berger is wanted by Sparta Prague and Slavia Prague but newly promoted Stoke want his experience to boost their hopes of survival.
