Stoke City are pushing Sunderland over a deal for midfielder Lee Cattermole.
The Daily Star Sunday says Potters boss Mark Hughes has made a £5million offer for Cattermole, 25.
Stoke, however, fear that their chances of landing Cattermole in this month's transfer window have been hit by Sunderland reaching the Capital One Cup Final.
