QPR face a battle to land Tottenham defender Michael Dawson.

The Daily Mail says Stoke City and Sunderland are looking to gazump QPR to the signing of Dawson.

Spurs have accepted QPR's offer and look favourites to nab sign Dawson, subject to finalising personal terms and passing a medical.

However, Stoke and Sunderland have expressed a firm interest in landing Dawson and both clubs are providing serious competition to Rangers' attempts to complete a deal.
