Stoke striker Pulis facing furious Gillingham fans' abuse

Stoke City striker Peter Crouch will run the gauntlet against Gillingham in the FA Cup.

Crouch laid into Gills' supporters in his 'Walking Tall' autobiography after being abused at the Priestfield Stadium for QPR in 2000.

The 6ft 7in England star said: "Looking around at the faces of the home support at Gillingham, the irony was never lost on me that these people had the cheek to call me a 'freak'.

"Perhaps they should have taken a look at themselves first."
